Preparation for Vegas
Work at the paint shop
Click here for Details about our paint sponsor Auto-Air Colors
The process starts by making the body panels out of fiber glass.
Since the body is going to be bright fluorescent colors, a solid White Base Coat Sealer is needed.
Next, we mask off the graphics and logos, and start to paint with Fluorescent Hot Yellow.
Hot Orange and Hot Red are added to start the fade on the logos and to add details to the flames
After a couple coats, the fluorescent colors really pop.
Before the Fluorescent Hot Green is sprayed, all the Yellow Orange and Red must be taped off.
A couple coats of Green, then some Black details in the skull, around the windows and Auto Air logo.
Finaly, its ready for the clear coat. Then off to Vegas for the finals
