3rd Show of 2009
Monster Jam at Ford Field Detroit, Michigan
Click here for the Monster Jam recap
Once again, the track in Ford Field was pretty wild! Vans stacks, dirt hills, and cars pyramids!
Both trucks were ready for the Pit Party!
Jim wanted to honour the victory of his son's football team in a special manner. So the entire roof of the Avenger had the team logo on it, as well as the names of all the players. Chris was really excited, and so was the rest of the team, who spent the whole show screaming and cheering for Avenger & Brutus! Good job guys!
A lot of people were on the floor during the pit party. Team Scream had a lot of fans there. It was awesome!

Pit Party Photos page
Both Jim and Chris had an interview with Scott Douglas, from Speed TV. Team Scream's fans also got to be in front of the camera!
It's a Ford Field Tradition for
Sourmash to rock out during the Monster Jam the pit party!
Avenger & Brutus were all over the place during freestyle. Both got big air, and did some nice donuts.
Unfortunately, due to mechanic problems, Chris had to end up his freestyle early, and got a score of 17. The crowd booed when the score was announced. Even if the run was short, it was worth more than the 17 given.
In the middle of his freestyle, Jim did a sweet donut. The crowd was excited!
Jim rolled over when the truck landed sideways on one of the dirt hill. The crashed caused some major body damage, as well as a bent four link bar, and some other minor damages on the truck itself. Jim got a score of 18 for his freestyle.
Other trucks at the show were: Grave Digger (Randy Brown), Blue Thunder (Linsey Weenk), Batman (John Seasock), Monster Mutt Dalmatian (Candice Jolly), 106.7 The Fox (George Balhan), El Toro Loco (Chris Baker), Stone Crusher (Steve Sims), War Wizard (Randy Moore), Mopar Magic (Ricky Ownley), & Pure Adrenaline (Ricky Brantley)
